by Moody Adams “Foxconn, the leading manufacturer of electronics in the world -- which makes Apple’s iPhones and iPads, among other products -- plans to build 500,000 robots over the next three years to either replace or augment the company's human workforce,” reports the Fiscal Times. “Foxconn currently supplements its 1.2 million human workers with 10,000 robots.”
Humans are having difficult times in Foxconn’s plants. In 2010 fourteen employees committed suicide, jumping off the plant roofs. This became such a problem Foxconn installed suicide-prevention nets on their plant.
The increase in human knowledge that enables us to make robots and other amazing products is a crystal clear, fulfillment of Bible prophecy. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Daniel 12:4).
The loss of human jobs is a sad thing, but this fulfillment of prophecy assures us of the Bible’s accuracy and Christ’s soon return.
