Couple Fired and Kicked out of Their Home for Being 'Too Religious'
by Moody Adams Hallmark Management Company fired and evicted Daniel and Sharon Dixon.
Hallmark did this because of artwork hanging in their office that contained a Scripture reference.
The Dixons were employees and tentants of the government-subsidized Thornwood Terrace Apartments, in Lake City, Fla. The manager told the couple they were “too religious” and gave them 72 hours to vacate their apartment home.
The Dixons filed a lawsuit charging religious discrimination. Liberty Counsel represented the Dixons in the case of Dixon v. Hallmark Companies and won a settlement of $76,250.
