The Four Evils of Oral Sex 03/06/2013

by Moody Adams
Oral sex is commonly practiced by teenagers trying to remain virgins, by married women to please their husbands and by prostitutes to avoid pregnancy. Sinners are expected to practice such things, but for serious Christians there are 4 evils of oral sex.

Gonorrhea is often spread by oral sex. It causes serious infections of the reproductive tract for both women and men that can lead to infertility. Less commonly, gonorrhea can get into the blood stream and cause devastating infections elsewhere in the body.

Tonsils can transmit HIV during oral sex although the risk of HIV infection during oral sex is low, the tonsils appear to be more susceptible to the virus than other areas in the mouth and throat.

Oral sex can be demeaning to a woman. Some wives say giving oral sex made them feel degraded and cheap, like prostitutes. This prevents mutual pleasure and the erosion of love.

Roxanne Khamsi reports “Oral sex-related cancer at 30-year high. The incidence of oral cancer due to a virus transmitted during oral sex has increased steeply since the sexual revolution, say US researchers.
Oral sex is “contrary to the natural conduct of sex” and is forbidden by God: “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; are forbidden (Romans 1:26-27).

The good news is sinners can be washed and sanctified in Jesus name: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, … nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, … shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
