by Moody Adams Arnold Schwarzenegger was a mighty man in the gym, but weak as a kitten in the bedroom. Schwarzenegger certainly wants to control his body. In his new book he says this, “About the son he conceived with the family housekeeper, Mildred Baena, in 1996. He says: that he had always promised himself not to fool around with the help. That once, "all of a sudden," he and Baena "were alone in the guesthouse." And immediately after that: "When Mildred gave birth the following August . . . ''
The man whose mighty discipline enabled him to win seven Mr. Olympia contests, could not keep his promise not to “fool around with the help.”
It is tragic to see a man so strong lifting the weights and so weak trying to control his own body.
If Arnold is not strong enough to overcome temptations who is?
The secret of strong morals and strong character is to confess your weakness and to receive Jesus Christ into your heart. “And He (Jesus) said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (II Corinthians 12:9).
Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers . . . shall inherit the kingdom of God . . . And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Some of the people of Corinth had been adulterers, but they were washed clean by the blood of Jesus and strengthened by the power of the Spirit of god.
