by Moody Adams ESPN’s Dana Jacobson, speaking at a celebrity roast in Atlantic City, N.J., unleashed a profane tirade, crying, "F--- Jesus."
Catholic League president Bill Donohue said, “There is no evidence that ESPN is taking this matter seriously." He said. "Are we to believe that her hate speech is of no consequence?" “Donohue argued Jacobson's comments were at a public event where she represented ESPN,” reports WorldNetDaily.
This continues an escalation of blatant, verbal attacks on Jesus Christ.
Reuters reported Kathy Griffin, the star of Bravo channel show, "My Life on the D-List," commanded "Suck it, Jesus.” Appearing at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards Griffin said, "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus," an exultant Griffin said, holding up her statuette. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now."
Off stage, an unrepentant Griffin added, "I hope I offended some people. I didn't want to win the Emmy for nothing."
Christians should find antichrist remarks both disturbing and reassuring. While we are amazed at the hatred of such a wonderful man, it reassures us that the Bible is true and we are in the final stage of history before Christ returns.
The word of God said, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists” (I John 2:18).
