by Moody Adams Yale University says it was because of “fear” that they removed material from an upcoming book, “The Cartoons that Shook the World.”
The cartoon they removed was of Prophet Muhammad which undoubtably shook the world more than any cartoon of our times. It inflamed the Muslim world and resulted in Muslims killing 200 innocent people. Yale is afraid it would be repeated if they published it in their book.
Prominent alumni and a national group of university professors have protested because it sends the message that all you have to do to silence our long cherished freedom of speech is threaten to kill innocent people.
