EXPERIENCE ENDLESS ENTHUSIASM 10/27/2008

Every Christian that allows the Christ within them to fill them, and control them, certainly is enthusiastic. And they stay enthusiastic.

The root meaning of the word “enthusiasm” is “God filled.” Everybody that is called enthusiastic is not necessarily “God filled.” But everyone that allows the Winner within to fill them, or control them, certainly is enthusiastic. And they stay enthusiastic.

A. L. Williams said, “Most people can stay excited for two or three months. A few people can stay excited for two or three years. But a Winner will stay excited for twenty or thirty years—or as long as it takes to win. If you’re a leader of other people, you’ve got to set an example of being excited. People won’t follow a dull, disillusioned, frustrated crybaby. If you’re excited, you draw people like a magnet. Everyone wants to know what you’re feeling. They all want to experience the kind of excitement you have.”

Nothing is more exciting than Jesus, who loved us enough to die for us and then rose from the dead. When the apostle Peter heard Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary telling about Jesus rising from the dead, he got excited: “Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre.” Peter was no boy, but he ran to see the empty tomb and then ran to tell the world Jesus had risen” (Luke 24:10-12).

Focus on the Christ living within you. Claim His enthusiasm. He will fill you with an explosive zest for living.
