by Moody Adams An article in Real Truth, by Kevin Denee and H. Chris Lomas, is titled “The Nuclear Family Meltdown.” It point that father are absent from the home in this Nuclear Age.
In the U.S., 34% of all children are in a home without their fathers. (Statistics from Focus on the Family).
About 40% of children in father-absent homes have not seen their dad during the past year. That is 10 million children who have not even seen their father in the past year!
Over half of these children in father-absent homes have never seen their father. More than half of all fatherless children have never been in their dad’s home.”
In the 1960s, 80% of America’s children lived with two married parents—today under 60% do.
The Bible instructed, “Hear, you children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding” (Prov. 4:1). This is impossible for millions of children growing up in a home without their dad.
