Castro led a revolution that was full of promise. It did not work. Over the next 9 months they will be letting half-a million government workers go. They cannot pay them.

In admission of their failure they are freeing up private enterprise to help these people find jobs in the private sector.

Socialism sounds wonderful; “Spread the wealth.” Take the money from the rich and give it to those less fortunate, sounds great to the masses of poorer people.

In reality it destroys jobs and the poor get poorer.

Strange, that while the United States is destroying private sector jobs and increasing government jobs, Cuba is being forced to do the opposite after decades of socialism.

It is a dishonest form of stealing when the government takes money from one man and gives it to another. It carries its own punishment.
