Paul Hill Died Calling On Others To Kill Abortion Doctors

Just before his execution, Paul Hill, who killed an abortionist in Pensacola, Fla., called on others to follow his example: "If you believe abortion is a lethal force, you should oppose the force and do what you have to to stop them.

Just before his execution, Paul Hill, who killed an abortionist in Pensacola, Fla., called on others to follow his example: "If you believe abortion is a lethal force, you should oppose the force and do what you have to do to stop it."

Scott Roeder shot abortionist George Tiller to death and answered Paul Hillís plea to kill.

Hill, a former Presbyterian minister, used Christ's teaching of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" to justifying his killing: "May God help you to protect the unborn as you would want to be protected," he said.

Hill made the mistake so many make; he made his mind his supreme authority instead of scripture.

Intellectually you can reason;
1. Science proves the unborn is a living person (pulse and brain waves).
2. Abortionists are killing the unborn
3. Therefore killing doctors prevents them from killing living persons.

This is sound, irrefutable logic.

However, a Christian is not allowed to do what is logical. He is called to follow Jesus Christ. Jesus left us this example. He lived under a barbaric heathen government, the Roman government that made slaves of masses and amused themselves by killing gladiators. Christ did not try to kill these wicked butchers. In fact, He never mentioned them.

Christ countered the Roman murderers by teaching "ye must be born again." He concentrated on changing the hearts of men, as One whose kingdom was not of this world. This world ends quickly; meanwhile innocent unborn children, who are aborted, go to heaven. Unrepentant murderers will go to hell. Justice will be done.

Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight" (John 18:36).

Either Paul Hill was a minister who did not know what Jesus taught, or he chose to elevate his human reasoning above Holy Scripture. Either way, he fought, he died unrepentant, and he will face God as a murderer without excuse.

Worst of all, he inspire others to ignore Jesus' example and follow him down a path to hell paved with sound logic.
