Why Does GOD Allow Hurricanes? 08/29/2017

If there is a loving, all powerful God, why does he allow such suffering?

The Bible explains why we are suffering from hurricanes in clear simple words.

Mankind’s federal head, Adam, chosen to disobey God’s one commands, reject Him and His authority. The result was a curse upon our planet. In earth's first election we voted 2 to 0 for Satan.

“And unto Adam He said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life” (Genesis 3:17-19).

The ground we live on is under a curse. It is cursed by briars that the farmer must fight to provide our food.

It is cursed by earthquakes that shake down our towers and kill their inhabitants.

It is cursed by hurricanes that sweep away our cities and bring massive death.

It is cursed by floods, fires, and plagues.

Why are we cursed? God said, “Cursed is the ground for thy sake.”

God’s purpose is the salvation of as many souls as possible. The curse upon our planet humbles men, reminds them of their mortality, and drives many to seek their God in repentance. These things are for our “sake.” Better that we loose our homes and cities than that we lose our eternal souls!
