Most of the things we use are made with oil. A list of some uses of oil, beginning with “ABC” follow below. The rest are made with machines that require oil. And virtually everything not carried by donkeys is transported using oil.

Ammonia, Anesthetics, Antihistamines, Artificial limbs, Artificial Turf, Antiseptics, Aspirin, Auto Parts, Awnings, Balloons, Ballpoint pens, Bandages, Beach Umbrellas, Boats, Cameras, Candles, Car Battery Cases, Carpets, Caulking, Combs, Cortisones, Cosmetics, Crayons, Credit Cards, Curtains,

Oil is a marvelous product that runs our cars and heats our homes, but only when it is contained within the pipes and ships bringing it to us.

Sex, medicines, and even food are the same. Contained in their proper place they are a benefit to the human race. When they break out it can spread horrific disasters.

Sex can draw mates together and find them in a loving relationship. When it burst out of marriage it spreads disease, and destroys homes.

Medicines can relieve our pain and heal our bodies. When it breaks our of the physician’s instructions into drug abuse it can be a killer. Food sustains life and gives energy. When it explodes into gluttony it can destroy health and life.

The power of the Lord can restrain our passions and contain them, “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient : all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power’ (I Corinthians 6:12-14)
