by Moody Adams The scientific community declared it a lie 100 years ago. No scientist today believes it. Most encyclopedias expose it. But our high schools are teaching youth. The lie is that humans were once fish.
In 1866, a German scientist and strong supporter of Darwin, Ernst Haeckel, faked evidence to show man had evolved from a fish. The phony evidence he produced was that at one stage fetuses have ‘gill slits’. He faked drawings that were soundly proven to be false. But 100 years later this lie can be found in high school text books.
The evolution scholars prefer not to mention this for fear they would be thought to be against evolution.
