Obama Declares War on Catholics and the Constitution 02/07/2012

The Obama administration’s decision last week to force Catholic institutions to provide birth control, abortion drugs and other contraceptive services, is actually a war on the Constitution. Though churches are said to me exempt, church schools and hospitals are not.

The new health care law “would require all employers, including religious institutions, to pay for abortion.”

“Never before, unprecedented in American history, for the federal government to line up against the Roman Catholic Church,” said Catholic League head Bill Donohue. One-sixth of America’s hospitals are Catholic and they refuse to perform abortions. Donohue has promised to fight Obama on this in every possible way.
The Constitution says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

It appears the current administration is making the separation of church and state a one way street. If they get by with this, what is next? Will Baptist have to start selling wine in their churches: since some believe this improves health?
