Couple Fired and Kicked out of Their Home for Being 'Too Religious' 04/04/2012

by Moody Adams
Hallmark Management Company fired and evicted Daniel and Sharon Dixon.

Hallmark did this because of artwork hanging in their office that contained a Scripture reference.

The Dixons were employees and tentants of the government-subsidized Thornwood Terrace Apartments, in Lake City, Fla. The manager told the couple they were “too religious” and gave them 72 hours to vacate their apartment home.

The Dixons filed a lawsuit charging religious discrimination. Liberty Counsel represented the Dixons in the case of Dixon v. Hallmark Companies and won a settlement of $76,250.
