by Moody Adams One of America's largest Christian radio networks interrupted one of its programs in mid-show and cancelled another because it featured the Seattle, Wash., pastor Mark Driscoll.
Driscoll preaches that women refusing to give oral sex to their husbands and living in sin and in need of repentance.
The Baptist Press reports Driskoll teaches, "She [the wife] says, “I’ve never performed oral sex on my husband. I’ve refused to.” I said, “You need to go home and tell your husband that you’ve met Jesus and you’ve been studying the Bible, and that you’re convicted of a terrible sin in your life. And then you need to drop his trousers, and you need to serve your husband. And when he asks why, say, ‘Because I’m a repentant woman. God has changed my heart and I’m supposed to be a biblical wife.’” She says, “Really?” I said,
“Yeah. First Peter 3 says if your husband is an unbeliever to serve him with deeds of kindness.” [Laughter from audience] How many men would agree, that is a deed of kindness. He doesn’t want tracts. Those won’t do anything. What we’re talking about here could really help."
Driskoll says this is taught in Song of Solomon 2:3, which is a metaphor regarding Christ’s love for the church, and there is not a word about oral sex.
Driskoll is a grand example of Peter’s warning about people twisting scripture: 2 Peter 3:16 says, “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest , as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”
Oral sex is sodomy and God destroyed two cities for practicing this sin.
Romans 1:27 speaks of the "natural use" of the woman which is rather obvious: “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,”
When men turn to oral or anal sex, they are taking the first step toward homosexuality. If they find pleasure in such perversion, they can find it at least as well with other men.
